Treat locally first: these are repeated contact zones.
CARE · PRACTICAL GUIDE
When whiteyellows.
Locate the mark, check the label, then start with the gentlest compatible treatment.
GENERAL ADVICE · THE GARMENT LABEL AND PRODUCT INSTRUCTIONS REMAIN THE PRIORITY
Never mix household products, especially bleach with vinegar, acid, ammonia or another cleaner. Follow instructions, ventilate and rinse as directed by the manufacturer.
01 — LOCATE
Where does the yellow appear?
Read the three decisive pieces of information
Check the composition, maximum temperature and bleaching triangle. A crossed-out triangle prohibits any bleaching agent; a triangle with two lines allows only oxygen-based agents.
Pre-treat a localised area
Remove excess without rubbing hard. Apply a textile stain remover stated as compatible with the fabric and bleaching symbol, on a test area if the instructions require it. Follow the dose and action time exactly, then wash without letting the product dry on the garment unless instructed otherwise.
Wash again correctly
Separate white from colours, do not overload the drum and dose detergent according to load and water hardness. Use the temperature allowed by the label and suited to the detergent; increasing the dose at random does not replace a correctly set wash.
Check before any heat
Examine the T-shirt while still damp, in neutral light. If the mark remains, do not iron and avoid tumble-drying: repeat only with an explicitly compatible method, without combining several products.
REMEMBER
One method at a time.
Yellowing does not have one single cause and no method guarantees a return to the original white. Progressive action protects the textile better and helps understand what worked.
